A lucky Stafford FM listener got the chance to meet one of the biggest names in the music industry at the weekend.

After hearing about the model railway exhibition being held at the Staffs county showground on The Mid Morning show with Lee Middleton, Simon Parry from Leicester decided to make the trip over on Saturday Morning.

Simon who is also a nightclub DJ based in the Midlands, met 80s music guru Pete Waterman who himself is an avid train fan.

Simon said ” The show was a lot bigger than i expected spanning all three exhibition halls, Pete Waterman was a genuinly down to earth guy and very enthusiastic and knowledgable about all things railway!”
