Rob Halden was born and raised in Stafford and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Staffordshire University in the field of Film, Television & Radio Studies. Whilst attending University, Rob presented a twice-weekly show on Student Radio, mixing irreverent humour with music and news.
In the last decade Rob has become a stand-up comedian, performing up and down the country and winning coveted competitions such as ’Beat The Frog’ and ‘King Gong’. Rob has performed at high-profile venues such as The Comedy Store, Hi-Def Comedy and The Frog & Bucket. He was also named West Midlands Comedian Of The Year in 2010 by his industry peers.
Rob also produces and promotes stand-up comedy in Stafford through JUICE Comedy, the longest running comedy club in town. In the last 8 years JUICE Comedy has brought well over 1,000 comedians to the heart of Stafford, operating out of pubs such as Joxer Brady’s, The Bird In Hand, The Prince Of Wales and The Underground (formerly Reynold’s Cellar Bar). JUICE Comedy has recently teamed up with the Gatehouse Theatre and The Eagle Inn, Eccleshall.
